PROTEC GROUP is a consortium of fire protection consultants comprised of Protec Equipment Inc. (Canada) and ENGIE (Cofely España). PROTEC GROUP specializes in the engineering and construction of fire protection systems for mining and mineral processing plants, particularly Solvent Extraction plants in hydrometallurgy, as well as petroleum products storage and handling facilities.
Protec Group applies creativity, innovation and integrity to fire protection engineering, working closely with our clients and their insurance providers to achieve maximum protection at lowest capital cost.
Protec Group audits industrial plants to determine compliance with applicable codes and standards and conducts HAZOP studies and other process safety analyses.
Our project teams work with clients through all project phases from conceptual to detail engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning, and post-construction upgrades, to reduce production downtime and eliminate losses caused by fire.
